L. Allan Pearson,44, of 1016 Oakmont Circle, died at Lynchburg General Hospital,Friday at 10:55 p.m.,after a short illness.

He was born in Lynchburg, son of the late Herbert P. Pearson, and he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Burnette Pearson of Lynchburg. He was a member of Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church, Forest Lodge of Masons, Campbell County Rescue Squad and American Legion. He also served as a National Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Ann Perkins Pearson:two daughters both of Lynchburg; two brothers,Richard C. Pearson and Herbert P. Pearson Jr., both of Lynchburg, and five sisters, Mrs. A.T. Quick III-(Pauline), and Mrs. Howard Perrow-(Elizabeth), both of Lynchburg, and Mrs. E. O . Saunders(Jane)of Memonee Falls,Wisc., and Mrs. Roy Heath (Louise Madeline) of Denton,Tex.

The funeral services will be conducted from Whitten Timberlake Chapel, Monday at 11 a.m. with the burial in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m..
