BRODER, LAWRENCE E., M.D., age 69, passed away April 2, 2013. Born in Miami, FL, the son of the late Samuel and Irene Broder, he leaves his wife, Karen; and son, Seth (Laura). He received his Bachelor and Medical Degrees from the University of Florida and was a Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology in Florida where he maintained a practice in Homestead and Palmetto Bay. He was also retired from the Public Health sector where he served at the rank of Commander. He was a patron of the arts; an avid scuba diver, gardener, Jazz buff and traveler. Services on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 11am at Riverside Gordon/Mt. Nebo Kendall, 5900 NW 77 Ave., Miami, FL. Interment following at Old Mt. Nebo, 5505 NW 3 St., Miami, FL.
