William T. Alexander, 99, of Tinton Falls, NJ, died on January 11, 2014 at his home in Seabrook Village. He was born in Long Branch, and lived in River Plaza before moving to Tinton Falls 10 years ago. He proudly served his country in the Army during WWII and received European African and Middle Eastern 4 bronze stars. William was a life time member of the Red Bank Methodist Church serving as treasurer for many years. He was also an active member of a Masonic Lodge, Navesink # 9, F&AM

Surviving are his 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Barbara Alexander of West Virginia, and Robert and Linda Alexander of Oregon; step daughter, Carol Werber; as well as 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

William was preceded in death by his son, David Alexander in 1975; wives, Gertrude Alexander and Eleanor Alexander.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

A Masonic memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 5, 2014, Red Bank Lodge, 152 Maple Ave., Red bank. Contributions can be made to the Red Bank United Methodist Church, 247 Broad Street, Red Bank NJ 07701
