Patricia attended local schools, graduating in 1947 from Island Falls High School. She trained as a nurse at Mt. Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in New York City. She worked several jobs in Maine, including U.S. Veteran's Administration in Togus, from which she retired.
She was active in Girl Scouts and the Historical Society of Island Falls.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Delmont and Frank; and a nephew, Alan Emerson.
Per Patricia's request, there will be no services at this time. A spring interment will be at Island Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Abnaki Girl Scout Council, 359 Perry Rd., Suite B, Bangor, ME 04401-6723. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
