Lila Marie Lord was born July 2, 1930, in Bottineau, ND, where she grew up and attended school. On September 24, 1947, she married Carl L. Andel in Breckenridge, MN. They lived in Wahpeton, ND and Breckenridge area until moving to Fargo in 1963. She worked as a cook in various restaurants in Fargo until she retired in 1993,
Lila passed away in the MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND on Nov. 6, 1999. At the time of death she was survived by her husband; two sons; two daughters; two brothers; one sister; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Jeffery.
Her funeral was held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo with interment at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
