Charles R. Belvo, 74, of Sun City, AZ, passed away August 17, 2011. Mr. Belvo was born May 7, 1937 in Centerville, Ohio to Peter and Bernadine Belvo.

He served in the US Army and retired as a skilled Carpenter after over 40 years. A Sun City resident since 2001, he was member of St. Clement of Rome Parish, a volunteer with the Sun City Prides and St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Peter & Bernie and siblings, Rita, Athena and Christina. Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Luz Belvo; children: Robin & Susan Belvo, Luzette & Fran Socash, Alan Belvo, Leslie & Kelly Wagner and Leticia & Jeff Fick; grandchildren: Hannah, Ellie, Annilou, Gabriela, Samantha, Hayden and Aspen; and siblings: Patricia Carlin, Jerry Belvo and Albert Belvo. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 26, 2011 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
