Sylvia H. Grant of Lake Orion, Michigan, age 79, passed away April 20, 2014. She was the wife of Herbert Grant for 36 years and the mother of Joseph (Mary) Savard III, Leslie (Bert) Lewis, Julie Savard, Michelle (the late Jamie) Perry, Julie Moyer and Kevin Grant; dear grandmother of Sarah, James, Phil, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Michael, Anna and Kristen; and special great grandmother of Emily and David. Sylvia was also survived by her brother Jim (Lynn) Feltz; step sister Karen Acree; sister in law Shirley Fraser; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Judy Luchkovitz, Ron Feltz and Butch Feltz and Jack Crebassa.
Sylvia was very active as the treasurer of the Band Boosters, a founding member of the Orion Arts Center, and one of the Camp Fire Girls. She was one of many volunteers who helped prepare Rochester College for its opening in 1959. Sylvia loved to paint, garden, and spend time out on the water fishing.
