Visitation with the family of Mrs. Hofstetter will be from 2 until 4 PM and from 6 until 9 PM, Thursday, February 4, 1993 at Nave Funeral Home. Services will be 11 AM, Friday, February 5, 1993 at Nave Funeral Home with Father Robert J. Hofstetter officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Hofstetter, 74, died Wednesday, February 3, 1993 at Nashville's Saint Thomas Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Chestnut Mound in Smith County, Mrs. Hofstetter resided in Nashville since 1963. She was retired from Textron Aerostructures and was affiliated with Christ The King Church in Nashville. Mrs. Hofstetter was the daughter of G. W. Gilbert and Ella Vanderpool Gilbert. Survivors include her husband, William S. Hofstetter of Nashville; son, Jules C. Brazil, Jr., of Gallatin; daughter in law, Elva C. Brazil of Gallatin; grandsons, Jules C. Brazil, III, Christopher K. and Todd E. Brazil, all of Gallatin; great granddaughter, Jessica Brazil of Gallatin; brothers, Mack W. Gilbert of Lebanon and Donald D. Gilbert of Naples, Fla. Mrs. Hofstetter's grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
