Son of William A and Sophia "Whitmore" Foster. Married Laura "Lollye" Gross. They had a daughter Margaret. Bob was the manager at the Keystone Tire and Rubber Co in San Francisco. Bob created and patented the white lines that divide the roadways. He also was the creator and patented the reflector bumps that we still use today on our roadways. He owned and ran a shop to manufacture these in San Francisco. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Lollye.
