Austrian Royalty. Also known as Archduchess Maria Theresia of Austria-Este, Maria Theresia of Bavaria and Queen Mary IV and III. She was the only daughter of the late Archduke Ferdinand of Austria-Este and of his wife Archduchess Elisabeth of Austria. She was Archduchess of Austria, Princess of Hungary and Bohemia, and Princess of Modena. As granddaughter of Queen Mary III and niece of King Francis I, she was recognised by the Jacobites as "Princess of England, Scotland, France, and Ireland." She married king Prince Ludwig of Bavaria (they later became King and Queen of Bavaria).
She was initially buried at the local chapel at Wildenwart Castle but after The King's death, her remains were removed and she was reburied, with him.
