Jacob Anthony Piazza was called home to his Savior on June 7, 2014.
Jacob was our beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. God needed a big angel with a big soft heart, so he took our beloved Jacob home.
Jacob was born in Lake Charles on April 11, 1988 to Anthony and Lilly (Elmore) Piazza. He was married to the love of his life, Kristy Kramer Piazza, for three short years. From their love came their two beautiful children, Anthony Drake Piazza, age 2 and Rylee Addison Piazza, age 1. Jacob's other love of his life was his beautiful baby sister, Bailey Piazza Fontenot.
Jacob was loyal and dedicated to his job with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his family and friends. He was a member of East Ridge Baptist Church and the Moss Bluff Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony and JoAnne Piazza and Bill and Loyce Elmore.
Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday June 10, 2014. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Rev. Alan Weishampel officiating. Burial will follow at LeBleu Cemetery at Chloe. The Honor Guard of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's department will serve as pallbearers.
