Larry D. Shipman, 66, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Shipman and Alice Stanley.
He is survived by his sister, Nyla (Art) Young; nephew, Donald; nieces, Victoria and Elizabeth (Matt); aunt, Susie Peck; several great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Larry worked at Cincinnati Milacron for 34 years, and retired from National Bank & Trust in 2011 after seven years of service. Larry was a member of Senior Citizens in Wilmington.
Visitation will be held 5-6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 11. Service will be 6 p.m. at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering, with Rev. Robert Coon officiating. The graveside service will be at noon, Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Blue Creek, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Special Olympics, 3303 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43232.
