John A. Call passed away suddenly Thursday evening, Jan. 14, 1982, at his home. Age 41 years. He was born Nov. 2, 1940, in Saginaw and resided here all of his life. He married Patricia L. Diebold Dec. 25, 1959. She survives him. He was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church and the Loyal Order of the Moose No. 82. He was employed by Saginaw Nodular Iron.
Surviving besides his wife, are one son and three daughters, Rick; Deborah; Sheri; and Amy Call, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Call, Saginaw; three brothers and two sisters, Ken Call, Saginaw; Mrs. Bernard (Sharon) Smillie, Freeland; Joseph Call, CA; Mrs. Lyle (Sue) Zink, Lansing; Dean Call, OK; his grandmother, Mrs. Margaret MacIntyre, Marshall, MI; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will take place 9:30 a.m. Monday at the McIntyre Chapel, 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Rev. John Troester will officiate with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 7:00 p.m. Saturday where they will meet with relatives at 7:30 p.m. Sunday for a prayer service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Stephen's Catholic Church or the Michigan Heart Association.
