FREEVILLE — Services will be held tomorrow for John C. Sager, 88, who died Thursday in the Tompkins Community Hospital, Ithaca, after a short illness. He was born here Feb. 22, 1893, and was a life resident. He was the oldest living member of the Freeville Fire Company and once served as fire chief. He was a member of the Freeville Fire Police and the County Fire Police Association. There are no survivors. Services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Perkins Funeral Home in Dryden, Rev. Jeffery Seeley , pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Calling hours are today from 7 to 9 p.m at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Freeville Rescue Squad, care of Freeville Fire Department.
