Richard Garneau Andrews Jr., 57, of Hall Station Road, Kingston, Ga., died Sunday, July 11, 2010.

Mr. Andrews was born June 12, 1953, in Vermont, the son of the late, Vonda Louise (Bessette) and Richard G. Andrews Sr., was a heavy equipment mechanic, a U.S. Navy veteran and of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Ginnie and Jason Baines of Cartersville; grandchildren, Ashley Baines and Kaylee, Brittney and Lindsey (LuLu) Thacker; two sisters, Doreen Barrows and Janet Brunet of Virginia; brothers, Bernard, Gary and David Andrews of Vermont; his companion, Patricia Hight of Kingston; and her daughters, Tiara and Kimberly Hight.

A memorial service will be held today at 6 p.m. at First Church, 610 N. Tennessee St., with Rev. Nathan Sanders officiating.
