Jeannette was a den mother for cub scouts, and a Bluebird leader, and she taught Sunday School in Oklahoma. Jeannette en-joyed knitting and cro-cheting and she was a rock hound.
Jeannette is survived by her husband, Donald W. Compton of Chehalis, WA; her son, Donald William Compton of Chehalis, WA; her daughter, Vicki Steele of Yoncalla, Oregon. Ten grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
She is survived by two sisters, Florence Fletcher, living in California and Inez Dabler, living in Illinois.
Viewing will be on Monday, January 3, 2005 at Newell-Hoerling's Chapel from 12 noon to 7 PM.
A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2005, 10:30 AM at Newell-Hoerling's Chapel, Centralia with Pastor Bill Pinneo officiating. Inter-ment will be at Claquato Cemetery in Chehalis.
