GLENS FALLS — Eileen E. Cook, 57, of Davis Street, went into the arms of the Lord at her home Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, after a short illness.

Born May 18, 1958, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Delia (Streeter) Cook.

Eileen attended Hudson Falls High School and was employed as a certified nurse assistant at Fort Hudson Health Care Facility and CR Bard in Queensbury.

She loved her Green Bay Packers and was an avid Mets fan, but her greatest loves were her four grandchildren. Eileen also enjoyed bingo, collecting elephants and listening to music, especially Journey and Chicago. She loved life and did whatever she could to make others happy.

Besides her parents, Eileen was predeceased by her uncle, Ralph Cook.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Timothy Cook and his significant other, Kayla St. John, of West Glens Falls, and Rebecca Beaty and her husband, John, of Glens Falls; her four grandchildren, Cierra Beaty, Hannah Beaty, Aubrie Beaty and Cameron Cook; her brother, David Cook and his significant other, Brandie Duckett, of Hudson Falls; one niece and nephew; and many cousins.

A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at Rebecca’s home at a future date.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the animal charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements are under the care of Carleton Funeral Home Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.
