Curtis loved his wife, children, grandchildren and his extended family. He loved people and was a great listener. He also enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, trucks and the open road. He will be deeply missed.
Mr. Willis is survived by his wife, May A. Willis, Fort Gratiot; son Kenneth Willis, Wixom; son Joseph Willis Fort Gratiot; son, Steven Willis, Fort Gratiot; son, Timothy (Mary) Willis, Port Huron; daughter, Tammie Willis, Fort Gratiot; 6 grandchildren, Nicole, Jolene, Timothy, Jessica, Helen, and Debbra; 3 step grandchildren, LaDonn Harris, Alan (Susie) Harris, and Andrea Harris; 5 step-great-grandchildren. Cory Harris, Amber and Alex Hinijosa, Coreasa Portis, and A. J. Harris; his mother, Rosella Willis of Kimball; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Tom Warshefski, Fort Gratiot; sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Gary Smith, Burtchville; brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Marilyn Willis, Marysville; sister, Margie Moore, Kimball; brother-in--law, Bo Brown, Swartz Creek; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and his wife's warming, loving and accepting family.
Curtis was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbra Willis, July 17, 1989; father, Clifford Willis in 1987; brother Clifford Jr.; and sister, Pat Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in First Free Methodist Church, 2403 10th Ave. The Rev. Charles Husted Sr., pastor, Pastor Christine Crocker and Daniel Crocker will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his sons. Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy A. Willis, Floyd Krauss, and Gary Corwin.
