Walter Irving Baker

Walter Irving Baker was born in Nemaha County, Nebraska, February 19, 1871, and died February 25, 1919, aged 48 years, one week.

In 1880 he moved with his parents to Blue Springs, Nebraska. At the age of 21 he was converted and united with the Evangelical and later with the Christian Church. On August 30, 1899 he was married to Miss Margaret Ferguson.

To this union were born eight children. Irving, Cassie, Viola, Nettie, Charles, Fred, Margaret and Grace.

Besides his wife and children, he leaves to mourn their loss, his aged mother, five sisters and one brother: Mrs. Lucy Watts, Berkley, Cal.; Mrs. Theressa Venable and Mrs. John Berg of Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Eliza Dennis, Hamburg, Iowa; Mrs. Lilly Olels, Wellington, Kansas; Jesse Baker of Spokane.
