Dr. Frederick B. Fugazzi, 100, died Friday, August 19, 2005, at First Community Village in Columbus.

He was born in Attica, Ind., and had been a resident of Van Wert. He married Mildred Bultman, who died in 1991.

Dr. Fugazzi was a dentist in Van Wert for more than 40 years. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry and retired in Seneca, S.C., in 1974. He was a member of Young at Heart, St. Andrews Catholic Church in Clemson, S.C., and the Elks Lodge 1197 in Van Wert.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald Fugazzi of Columbus and Richard (LaVonne) Fugazzi of Atlanta, Ga., and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial will follow in Old Stone Church Cemetery. Viewing hours will be from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association
