Kuzmiak; grandchildren, Lauren and Meagan Potter, Joshua Wright, Niah Ibarra, Jacob Bowyer and Alina Thornton; niece, Donna Taylor; nephew, Robert Kuzmiak Jr.; grandniece and grandnephew, Amanda Laudani and Zachary Taylor.
Mr. Kuzmiak earned a BSME from NJIT and an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. In 1966 Mr. Kuzmiak joined the U.S. Air Force from which he retired in 1986. He then coached volleyball for several high schools, clubs and summer camps from 1987 to 2003.
Funeral Mass took place at St. George's Byzantine Catholic Church in Newark, New Jersey.
