Melvin L Frank was the youngest son of George N Frank #14566091 (1889-1967) and Mary E Frank #14566085 (1889-1972) of Laurel Montana. Due to a chronic illness of his mother he began living much of the time with his older sister Elizabeth and her husband David Frank. He was legally adopted by David and Elizabeth when he was 10 years old, The entire Frank family always considered him to be one of the Frank boys despite his residence and legal adoption.
