Bob was the son of John and Mary (Maultra) Nesbitt. He served in the US Navy from 1943-1946 during WWII aboard the USS ARD-23 (aux repair dock). Bob married Bernice Magdaline Carey 06 Jul 1946 at St Patrick Catholic Church in Lebanon WI.
