Ruby Catherine (Cat) Bryant, age 59, died Wednesday, January 15, 1992 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Born March 1, 1932 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Arch William and Ruth Lavinder Brown.

She was a member of Natural Bridge Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Charlie B. Bryant, Natural Bridge; one daughter, Kathy Darlene Bryant, Natural Bridge; three sisters, Jeanette B. Pugh and Helen B. Wells, both of Natural Bridge Station; Doris B. Dodd, Glasgow; three brothers, Walter E. Brown, Greenwood, Va.; William M. Brown, Natural Bridge Station; Robert E. Brown, Lynchburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. D.B. Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Glasgow Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
