He was survived by his wife, Irene; a son and three daughters by his second marriage, Douglas, 18, Gloria, 17, Mary, 15, and Margaret 12; a son and two daughters by his first marriage, Edmund Gilson, Mrs. Mabel Kelly, and Mrs. Robert (Joan) Hepburn; a brother, Maurice Gilson, and three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Eleanor) Lindsay, Miss Katherine Gilson, and Mrs. Lawrence (Marion) Forbes.
