At dawn on October 19th, Judith Somedy left the company of good friends and family.

She was a gifted poet and artist whose creative gifts were usually confined to a small circle of close friends and family. Besides her endeavors in art and literature, she was a passionate collector of audio tapes of a wide variety of musical genres recorded from a variety of local public radio stations KZSC, KUSP, and KKUP which covered a span of over thirty years. Her conversational skills reflected this wide array of interests and her gregarious nature led to friendships with people from all walks of life. With a smile that charmed young and old it is hard to imagine that she will no longer improve the quality of the lives of everyone who knew her, especially her husband, who has lost the woman who was friend, lover, and companion on life's difficult and mysterious journey.
