Don was born May 22, 1930, in Larimore, ND, the son of Albert "Pete" and Irene Stafford Fitzpatrick. He attended schools in Larimore and graduated from Larimore High in 1948. He graduated from UND in Grand Forks and then completed his Master Degree in Business from the University of Colorado. He was vice president and branch manager of a bank in CA for 12 years. He had lived in ND for the past several years.
Don passed away on June 20, 1979. Requiem Mass was celebrated from St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Larimore, ND with committal in Bellevue Cemetery. At the time of death he was survived by his father, one uncle, daughters Susan Monie of Walnut Creek, CA; Jan of Fresno, CA, and son Scott.
