In the 1990's he did a PBS television series of videos entitled "Painting on Location". Art was not just his profession, it was his real life's passion, his reason to live. Bob said "Painting is like having an itch you can't quite reach, but you keep trying to scratch it anyway. For one, it's not about the finished picture, it's the painting process that I like."
