After graduation, I attended Concordia College in Moorhead. From there I moved to Minneapolis, where I married Richard Aitkin, a tool and die maker employed at Honeywell. We had three sons, Mike, John and Wayne. Auto accidents took its toll in our family. Richard, John and also my brother Vernon Hendrickson were all killed in auto accidents.

I went back to college and received my degree in Business Administration. After graduation I was employed as an accountant at World Wide Pictures, the film ministry of the Billy Graham Association.

I developed Rheumatoid Arthritis, which was another change in my life. Due to my health problems, I became self employed, and now have an accounting office in my home.

For the lighter side, my hobbies are toastmistress, bridge and traveling. I have been fortunate to have traveled from New York to San Francisco, went on a Caribbean Cruise, traveled in Mexico, went abroad to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I also went to Hawaii where my son Wayne was married.

My son Mike is an overland truck driver and lives in Loveland, Colorado. Mike has four daughters. Wayne lives in St. Louis Park, Minnesota and he has one daughter.

That sort of sums up my life.
