Joseph Shriver, a prominent resident of Plum township, died at his home, Diamond, on Thursday, aged 60 years. He was working at a carpet loom when one of the family noticed his head sink forward on his breast. They went to his assistance, but before they could reach him he was dead. The deceased has been a resident of Plum township for over 35 years. He leaves two sons and a daughter.
