Charles Robert "Pete" Andrews, 64, of Lynchburg, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015, at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born on July 20, 1950, in Farmville, he was the son of the late Riley Aubrey Andrews and Dorothy Andrews. Charles retired from Colony Tires. He enjoyed Nascar, football, and was a UVA fan. Charles especially enjoyed being around and taking care of his family. Left to cherish his memory are his two sisters, Rebecca Hamilton and husband Lester and Harriett Hamilton; nieces and nephews, Luther Ray Martin, Jr. and wife Shirley, Marie Loving Norris, Victoria Nicole Hamilton, Elizabeth DeMoss, Marvin Gaye Hamilton, and Carrel Aubrey Hamilton and wife Elizabeth; numerous great- nieces and nephews; and special friends, Aubrey and Brenda Deaton and Ann Smiley. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
