Age 88, Oshkosh, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Arbor View Manor, Oshkosh. She was born March 7, 1927, in Oshkosh, daughter of Frank and Amalia Wagner. Anita received her education in Oshkosh Schools. She worked for Victory Lite Candle Company and Dr. Richardson. Anita lived for a while in California and Alaska.
Anita married Earl Nimmer at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Oshkosh, on June 22, 1963, and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2005. Anita and Earl loved to bowl in leagues at the Van Dyne Bowling Alley, where she was on Wendt’s Bowling Team. She was a member of a Red Hatters’ group, The Oshposh Red Peppers. She enjoyed going to lunch with “the girls”, her former co-workers. She loved singing, and was a choir member at St. John’s Church for many years. Anita was also a member of a special singing group at church, the Agape Singers. She also sang solos at several weddings.
In addition to her husband Anita was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frank; sister, Lenora; nephews: Leonard Kumbier and James Wagner.
