Margaret Elizabeth ( who went by Lizzie) was born 1851 to parents, Jacob ( 1819-1882) and Mary A. Edmond's ( 1826-1865 in Clarion County Pennsylvania.
She was one of six siblings but only three living. Her sister Louella died at age 5 years and her twin siblings
(sex unknown) died within a month of birth.
Her mother Mary also died in 1865 due to complications of the birth of the twins. Mary was only fourteen years old when she lost her mother. Her father died at 63 years old.
Margaret "Lizzie" married George Bittenbender in June of 1872. They had only one child, a daughter named Edna Madge Bittenbender 1876-1960.
