ABRAHAM – David James, 66, Johnstown, passed away July 3, 2015. Born June 22, 1949, son of James and Margaret (George) Abraham. Preceded in death by his father and uncle, Richard Simon George. Survived by his mother, "Margie"; sons, Aaron Christian Abraham and James David Abraham; sister, Anna Maria, and her husband, Edward "Ricky" Rovansek; uncles, John, and wife, Dalal George; and Chares, and wife, Joann George; aunt, Diane George; longtime special friend and caregiver, Brenda; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Dave was an accomplished guitarist and had been accepted to the Juliard School of Music. He played with many local bands over the years and in the '70s, played in the band, The Grapes of Wrath. He loved horses, dogs, traveling and scuba diving. He was the owner of Abraham Insurance Co. and was one of the top producers in the nation. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moskal-Reid Funeral Home, West End, where the Very Rev. Donald Shadid will hold Trisagion Prayers at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Trisagion Prayers will be held at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by funeral service at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Antiochan Orthodox Church. Committal, Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
