Our loving husband, father, and grandfather Eugene Allen Holder, age 73, passed away on September 27, 2015 in Murray surrounded by his loving family.
Born August 11, 1942, son of Daniel Henry and Maxine Smith Holder.
Married Karren Mackay on May 19, 1967 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Gene enjoyed fixing things and loved good music. He was always willing to listen to you and was very non-judgmental.
Survived by his wife, Karren; children, Kariann (AJ) Holder, Robert (Paula) Holder, Steven (Becky) Holder, and Bryon John (Diane) Holder; six grandchildren, Mataya, Courtnie (David), Trista, Olivia, Tenaya, and Henrie; and brother, David Holder.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the Valley Park Third Ward Chapel, 2603 West 4700 South. Viewings will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and prior to the services at the church on Friday from 11:00-11:45 a.m.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
