Early Life: Rita was born August 28, 1928, in Elma, Iowa, to John Sylvester McGee and Mary Ann "Anna" Knippling McGee.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: In 1957, she married Robert Fleming and resided in Springfield, Oregon, until December 2006. At that time, she moved to Stevensville, Montana, to live with her daughter’s family. In Stevensville, Rita attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed getting her hair done every Friday, watching Notre Dame football, and playing cards and dice games with family and friends. Rita Marie McGee Fleming, of Stevensville, Montana, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015, at home surrounded by family. She was 87 years old.
Survived By: Her sons, Bruce and John (Judy), of Springfield, OR; daughter, Monica Keeney (Jim) of Stevensville, MT; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Bob; her parents; and all eight of her siblings.
