SS Hauptsturmführer, entered the SS and served in the 1st Battalion of the SS Standarte, the II Battalion of the SS Standarte “Deutschland” and was with the SS Standarte “Der Führer” on the Western Front during the battle for Dunkirk, where he was killed in action. Kubish married Hitler’s first mistress, Maria Reiter, and after his death, Hitler sent Mimi a hundred red roses.
