Ron attended Washington High School and became a certified diesel mechanic while proudly serving in the United States Army. He previously worked at Stoops Trucking, Smith's Trucking and was currently driving a truck for Ceva Logistics. He met the love of his life, Jenny at the Moose Lodge in Speedway; sharing the past 18 years together. A man full of integrity, Ron immediately became a part of Jenny’s family and accepted each of her children and treated them as if they were his own. In addition, Ron and Jenny have generously fostered several individuals with special needs. He was known to have a funny, yet sometimes sarcastic sense of humor and was always willing to lend a helpful hand. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley, doing yardwork, listening to country music and above all spending time with his adored grandchildren. A man with such a large kind and loving heart, he will be deeply missed and his memories will forever be cherished by those blessed to know him.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Brissey and his beloved foster daughter, Katrina.
Survivors include his adored companion, Jenny Dooley-Lee of Mooresville; her children, Jason Lee (wife, Carrie), Brandi Smith and Josh Lee (wife, Stephanie) all of Monrovia; foster children, Mary, Jeanie, Charlie, Raegan; siblings, Jason Brissey (wife Becky), Marvin Seering, Donna Gadient (husband, Ed) and Lori Trussler; grandchildren, Machkenzye, Garrison, Jason, Genna, Gracie, June, Bailee, Georgia, Loghan and Paityn; eleven nieces and nephews.
