Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, October 27, 2009 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Jackson, 71, of Lebanon. A US Navy Veteran and a member of the College Hills Church of Christ, Mr. Jackson, died Friday, October 23, 2009 at University Medical Center (Lebanon, TN). The son of the late Jack and Nellie Bivins Jackson, he was a retired CPA for Corroon & Black. Services were conducted by Dr. Larry Locke and Brother William Hayes. Interment followed at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Survivors include: his wife of 32 years, Susan Jackson and daughter Krista (Trent) Fortner. Also surviving is brother Doug (Leta) Jackson; two grandsons; nephews Mike (Jenny) Hayes, Mark (Cindy) Hayes and Steven (Keelan) Jackson; brother in law William Hayes; his wife's parents Robert and Lucia Clark along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jackson is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Jackson Hayes. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Jackson's memory to the College Hills Church of Christ. Partlow Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
