Mrs. Nelle Marshall, 79,
Widow of Congressman
Mrs. Nelle Marshall, 79, widow of Leroy T. Marshall, former congressman in the Seventh District, died Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Hospitality Home.
A native of Cedarville, she was the daughter of John Edward and Jennie Smith Turnbull and was born Aug. 4, 1888. She married Mr. Marshall, an attorney and prominent Republican, June 4, 1908, and he died in November, 1950. She was a member of Current Events Club and First Reformed Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Fred L. Clark of Xenia; a son, Edward Max Marshall of Miami, Fla.; two brothers, Paul of Xenia and Howard Turnbull of Medway; two grandchildren, Marshall Clark of Xenia and Mrs. William A. (Cornelia) Brown of Tooele, Utah; and six great-grandchildren.
Private services will be conducted at Neeld Funeral Home, 106 W. Market St., Thursday at 1 p.m. with burial in Woodland Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
