Marie Ann Sullivan, age 77, of Greenville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Appleton Medical Center. Marie was born in Bear Creek on July 7, 1938, the daughter of the late Mark and Evelyn (Rohan) Lowney. She married Charles "Chuck" Sullivan on July 26, 1956. Marie was a resident of Greenville for 56 years and was employed by Appleton Medical Center for 17 years, until her retirement. Prior to this, Marie also enjoyed working for The Silver Dome with Chuck and her three sons. Marie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. Marie had many joys in life, the main one, her loving husband of 59 years, Chuck. She further enjoyed spending time with her family, telling stories, going up north and baking with her grandchildren. Marie is survived by her husband Chuck; three sons, Mick Sullivan, Greenville, Bryan (Ann) Sullivan, Hortonville and Daniel (Diane) Sullivan, Hortonville; daughter, Julie (Jason) Fencl, Appleton; seven grandchildren, Brenna Sullivan, Tara (Dustin) Dontje, Adam (Susan) Sullivan, Katie Sullivan, Tyler, Megan and Lauren Fencl; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Evelyn Dontje; sister, Gerri (Dennis) Conradt and in-laws, Marceedas Sullivan, Bev Sullivan, Bill and Mary-Jane Sullivan. Marie is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Marie is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Peeters and Kathleen Lowney; brother Mark Lowney, in-laws, Robert Peeters, Jack and Rosie Sullivan, Elaine Gough, Alice and Mayford Kosmerchock, Jim Sullivan, David Sullivan and Marcus Sullivan.A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Marie at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. Fr. Peter Mitchell and long time family friend, Bishop Robert Morneau will be officiating. Visitation will be Friday (TODAY), January 8, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at Borchardt Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville and again on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service directly at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery.
