Twins Ray John Cory and Roy Thomas Cory were born 17 June 1898 in Jefferson County, Wisconsin to Mary Ellen "Minnie" (Cramp) and Thomas Cory.

Ray John married Hildred Sophia Schauda on 01 June 1921 in Kearney, Nebraska.

Ray operated "Cory's [Conoco] Service Station" in Palmyra, Wisconsin, and Hildred was the postmaster. Ray died at home in Orlando, Florida in 1967.

Hildred and Ray had one daughter: Nancy Rae Cory (1938-1967)
