MARY J. TOOHEY (nee Jennings ), of Kearny , died Friday, Sept. 20, 2002 . She was 77.
Born in New York City , she moved to Kearny 35 years ago. She died in the Milford Manor in West Milford.
She was a financial clerk for American Can Company in Jersey City for 35 years before retiring 15 years ago.
Wife of the late William. Mother of Joseph E., James J. and Peter W. Toohey. Sister of the late Thomas Jennings.
She is survived by seven grandchildren and four nieces and nephews on the Jennings side along with their families.
Funeral services were conducted by the Wilfred Armitage Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive , Kearny.
A funeral mass was held in St. Cecilia's Church, Kearny.
Interment was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Orange .
