David Hiram Shull, born July 23, 1879 died at his home in Pittsburgh, formed Church at Ickesburg when a boy; later in years moved to Marklesville, where he had his membership transferred to the Reformed Church, under the pastorate of the Rev. J. Thomas Fox, where he held his membership for several years, during these years he served as deacon most of the time. After moving to Pittsburgh he had his membership transferred to the Hazlewood Presbyterian Church, where he belonged until passing to the "Great Beyond " Funeral services were held in Pittsburgh at 8 p. m. on the evening of Jan. 24th, by his pastor, the Rev Dayies, who accompanied the family and many friends to Newport on the morning of the ___. in the parlors of Mr. Lee Kell, where a large audience of people gathered at one P.Mm. Most solemn services were conducted by the Rev. S. W. Beck pastor of the Reformed Church at Ickesburg. His sermon was full of promise and hope to all who are faithful. A prayer was offered by the deceased's nephew, the Rev. Kenneth Reisinger. The Rev. Davies spoke of his most faithful relationship during the twelve years of his pastorate with him in his home and m the church, he always being so willing to lend a helping hand for good along all lines.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter and two sons; also his father, Mr. W. B. Shull, and two brothers, Clarence and James Shull, of Ickesburg, one brother and an only sister having preceded him to the Great Beyond. The pallbearers were Clarence and James Shull, D. W. Reisinger, Oscar Bisthne and Luther and Russell Smith. The floral tributes were lavish and beautiful. Interment was in the Buffalo cemetery at Saville Thursday, the 25th, at one p. m.
