She was the daughter of John Delouis Rector Sr. and Elizabeth Throm Rector who survive her. She is also survived by her older brother John Delouis Rector Jr. and maternal grandmother Irma Sailer Throm. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather William Alfred Throm (1924-1986) and her paternal grandparents Harold Laurel Rector (1904-1963) and Mary Antoinette Gubas Rector (1905-1990).
