He was a member of Sandstone Senior Citizens, Parishville Hilltoppers Senior Citizens Club and Parishville Masonic Lodge 395.
Surviving was his wife; a son, Charles V. (Joyce); a daughter, Mrs. Marlowe (Barbara) Thompson; three stepsons and their wives, Patrick and Tarania Snell, Thomas and Judy Snell, and Marissa and Malcolm Snell; three stepdaughters and two stepsons-in-law, Madeline Pennington, Mary and William Wright, and Carol and Douglas Johnson; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
