Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Bookhout Funeral Home, with the Rev. Earl V. Tolley, pastor of First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be later in Glenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Bolton was born Feb. 26, 1873in the Town of Burlington, daughter of William S. and Polly (Aylsworth) Walling. She was married to Judge Bolton June 26, 1895 in the Town of Burlington. He died Jan. 30, 1957.
She was a graduate of Oneonta Normal School, Class of 1894.
A resident of Oneonta for 65 years, Mrs. Bolton was a member of First Methodist Church and its WSCS, a member of Oneonta Women's Club, Oneonta Garden Club, Burroughs Club, and American Legion Auxiliary, and a member and past matron on Martha Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest W. Bolton, Oneonta RD2; Danforth D. Bolton, 4 High St.; one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Lila) Van Buren, 7 Grand St.,; five grandchildren, Mrs. Adrian (Betty) van OSS, Royal Oaks, Mich.; Landin I. Van Buren, 24 West St.; Robert G. Bolton, 3 Brook St.; Mrs. Ruth V. Brand, Melrose, Mass., and Ernest W. Bolton Jr. Stewart Air Force Base, Nashville, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience after 5 p.m. Wednesday. The family will be in present from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
