JAMES LITTS DIES AT HOME IN KINGSTON
    --------------------------
Deceased Employed By Penna. Power Company For 40 Years - Victim of Heart Attack
    --------------------------
James R. Litts, 64, well known West Side resident, employed by the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company for forty years prior to retirement about five months ago, died suddenly of a heart attack at the family home, 385 Winola avenue, Kingston, at 8:30 this morning.
Deceased had been in ill health for the past several months but he apparently was in normal health when he arose this morning shortly before 8 o'clock. Within a half hour, he was stricken and became unconscious.
Medical aid was summoned but death was almost instantaneous and was attributed to an acute heart attack.
Deceased was born in Stone Quarry, New Jersey, and came to Wyoming Valley forty-three years ago. He resided in Kingston for the past sixteen years prior to which he lived in Wilkes-Barre.
When he retired five months ago he had charge of the gas plant for the Power and Light Company.
His wife, Grace Litts, died about seven years ago and he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Eva Smith and Mrs. Elizabeth Ellis, and by a brother, David J. Litts, all of Kingston.
Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock on Monday afternoon from the Paul Phillips Funeral Home at 365 Wyoming avenue, Kingston, and burial will be in the Warden cemetery, Dallas.
