"Irvin A. Crews Jr., 54, of Vacaville, passed away Monday at Kaiser Hospital in Vallejo, of natural causes.
"Irvin was born Oct. 26, 1961 in Wichita, KS and has lived in Vacaville the past 10 years. He was a former resident of South Dakota, Utah and Fairfield. He worked as a Claims Specialist Intermediate with Progressive Insurance for 16 years. He was an avid bowler and golfer and had a passion for reading and music. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching Oakland Raider games.
"He was preceded in death by his father, Irvin A. Crews, Sr.
"Survivors include his wife; daughter; sons; stepdaughters; his mother; sister; grandchildren; and his longtime friend of South Dakota.
"Visitation will be held 3 to 8 p.m., Monday at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo. Funeral and Military Honors will be held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon. Burial will immediately follow.
"Memorial contributions in Irvin's honor are preferred to ACS Vacaville Relay for Life, Spare to Care, 700 Main St., Ste. 102, Suisun, CA, 94585."
