William Larrabee
In November, 1861, he entered the union army as a member of Company E, fourteenth regiment of Maine volunteer infantry. A few months later he was honorably discharged for disabilities received in the service. In September of the following year, Mr. Larrabee enlisted in Company I, twenty-second Maine infantry, with which he remained until August 14, 1863, when he was discharged because of wounds received at Port Hudson, La. He was then a corporal in the army.
